In Europe with our first delegation of members

From 9th -11th December 2024, Eirmersive is bringing our first delegation to Stereopsia 2024 - "Europe’s foremost XR event" in Brussels. Eirmersive centrally coordinated the delegation between our members, Skillnet and Enterprise Ireland. We are looking forward to having our first ever Eirmersive booth at an international conference, and putting Ireland on the map as a player on the global stage. We have several member companies attending – Volograms, Imvizar, IMVA, The Immersive Agency along with several other members providing demonstrations that will be hosted at the Eirmersive stand, such as HoloToyz, Emagine, VIVERSE and Innovision. We are delighted that Irish members of the TRANSMIXR EU project will also be presenting at Stereopsia.

The first day at Stereopsia is quite unique in that it is focused on conversations with XR Associations from across Europe, like Eirmersive, the European Commission and the presentation of EU projects. Thanks to our partnership with XR4Europe we will present on Day 1 in relation to the data collection for the Immersive Industry in Ireland and the integration of that data with the European XR Landscape survey.

Day 2 is focused on Industry Verticals / Industry 5.0, such as MedTech, Construction and Manufacturing. As part of XR Wallonia’s HIIT event, Eirmersive will present the opportunities in Ireland for partnering in relation to industry verticals, building upon the rich industry ecosystem long established in Ireland.

We will also present partner members such as Foróige and Údarás na Gaeltachta for Europe wide opportunities regarding the youth and Irish language networks. Following our presentation, there will be roundtable discussions where we discuss possible Europe wide Industry 5.0 collaborations with our counterparts from across Europe.

Day 2 also sees presentations from members Volograms and Imvizar, including a presentation of Lureo, Imvizar's no code tool set for building AR Digital Walking Tours.

Day 3 is focused on Arts and Entertainment where IMVA will demo their VR and online visual art exhibition of Irish artists 'FUTUROPIA'. As well as the above, there are several ‘side-events’ such as the XR Awards and networking drinks.
